Classification: Vinho Regional Lisboa
Vinification: Vineyards are planted on the “hard-soil” of Colares. Very late manual harvest, intentional to allow the development of all the aromatic components of this variety. The grapes go through a tight selection process in the vineyard and winery. Skin Maceration of 100% of the grapes between 6-8 hours and then gently crushed and pressed. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel vats followed by ageing on fine lees with battonage until the end of January. Light filtration before bottling.
Consumption: Should be drunk around 6-8ºC.
Winemaker: Jorge Rosa Santos & António Figueiredo
