Pale salmon colour. The nose complexity is given by the Atlantic rich flavours, light red fruit and elegancy of the oak. It has a refined and velvety texture, Ocean flavours and crispy acidity. It finishes long and intense.
Rich nose and complex like a forest in spring time. Fresh entrance with red fruit, several layers of flavour with a very crispy acidity and vanilla from the oak. Good structure and a long finish.
Young very aromatic and intense. Oily texture, refreshing acidity good length green flavour typical from the variety and from our terroir, textured and crispy acidity supporting the wine.

Fantastic tour of the vineyards and winery of Casal Sta Maria. Very close to Sintra and even Lisbon for a day trip. Our guide was very knowledgable and we loved hearing stories of the founder. The wine tasting at the end was the cherry on top of a wonderful tour. - October.2022

Absolutely one of the most pleasant experiences of my life. At first when I arrived at the door, I was welcome by an amazing staff of such place, as I was offered one of the most tasty wines I have ever tried in my life. Coming from a person who has travelled and visited several vineyards through my existance, this can be assured to be absolutely the best ! I was carefully explained the history of the fine place in which Casal Santa Maria is located, accompanied by a wonderfull barbecue made by the wonderfull staff the place offers. During my visit I believe I made a new friend, the owners dog called Otto, a fine labrador in which I figured out it was the son of a Canadian champion. A indescribable experience in which I would be happy to repeat. 5 star reviews for the most breath taking vineyard I have ever visited. - December.2022

We had a fantastic birthday celebration lunch for 25 Swedish guests. Initiated by an interesting presentation of Casal Sta Maria made by Joao, followed by winetasting and a very nice lunch. Indeed to recommend!! - March.2020

We arranged a private wine tour for 29 people as a pre-wedding event on May 17, 2019. I connected with Joao via email to make the reservation and he was very quick to respond and answer any questions I had. When we arrived at the winery we were welcomed by Joao and his team who were so friendly and amazing. We started with a tour of the beautiful estate that had such a lovely story regarding the history of the winery and how the wine is made. Joao was very entertaining and captivating for our large group. After the tour we had lovely snacks with tastings of the delicious wines. We then had an amazing lunch that paired perfectly with the wines. This was one of the best wine tours we have experienced, and Joao and his team made the day perfect for such a large group. I would recommend this winery for large, small or even just one or two people. The wine, winery and the people are amazing and we had such a fun day! - June. 2019

Our family or 11 went to Casal Sta. Maria while visiting Sintra. The winery and grounds were immaculate and stunning. The tour included a tour of the grounds, a wine tasting and tapas. We enjoyed learning about the history of the property and the family who founded the winery. We loved the wine so much, we took home 8 bottles! The real stars of the experience are the two dogs that live there. Thank you, Casal Sta. Maria! We highly recommend a visit! - June. 2019

It was the birthday of my wife on July 30th and we wanted to visit this famous domain. We receieved a mail confirmation very soon after we have sent the mail. We were received by Joao, a charming man, whose English is perfect. He showed us the domain, told us the story and was very careful to answer all question. We were really charmed by this visit and the degustation. We received a bigger degustation for the occasion of my wife’s birthday. We recommend everyone to visit this great domain, you’ll love it and taste their fantastic Pinot Noir! Thank you João! - July.2019

Try not to read too much about the history before visiting, the story told by our guide was quite fascinating! The grounds are gorgeous, overlooking the sea. The property is tucked away in the hills of Sintra. The wines are lovely and light, great to sip on in the lovely cafe after the tour. We ordered tapas to accompany our wine tasting, which were delicious and a very nice presentation. - September.2019

Our visit to Casal Sta. Maria was fantastic! The estate and vineyard are beautiful, with amazing views of the Colares region in Sintra. Our tour guide João was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the estate, the wines they offer, and the surrounding region. It's well worth the trip for the scenery alone, but Casal Sta. Maria has top-tier wines as well. We particularly loved the Sauvigon Blanc! In the end, we bought 4 bottles and left happy! Thanks to João for such a great time! - February.2020

We had our tour yesterday and were very impressed! Our guide Pedro was an amazing storyteller and the wine testing was also an eye-opening experience! Now we have our own bottle of Ramisco and are very happy we had the chance to attend. - September.2019

My partner and I visited the vineyard for a tour with João, premium tasting, and tapas. It was a very informative and fun tour- the vineyard has such an interesting history. You can see the beautiful grounds high on the hill, but also the coast and towns below. We loved each of the wines and took home some bottles- worth the trip across the ocean! - November.2019
